K-Laser Therapy: Horses

This treatment allows 30 minutes of laser time, suitable for most conditions of a complex nature. Correct dosing of the laser light relates to the surface area we are treating and the duration of time your horse has suffered with the condition, so please be aware this may be subject to change upon presentation. Booking in for a free 15 min chat will help estimate the total time required. For example: large breeds will require longer treatments than smaller ponies; more complex conditions require additional lasering of nerve roots and compensating muscle groups. Laser treatments are cumulative; while most feel benefit after one session, for true photobiomodulation to work a series of treatments will be required. Conditions lasting less than 3 months need 1-6 treatments, for conditions lasting longer than 3 months 6-12 treatments may be required. There are discounts available for booking courses. You are under no obligation to finish courses and treatment can be stopped if you wish, however this may affect the outcome. There may be a call out charge depending on where you are based. If I can treat you from my van, you can travel to Zone 1 and there will be no charge. Multiple horses on a yard qualify for a discount *if* they are lined up for me, please talk to me about this. I will need a clear space that is under cover if raining. Once booking has been made, I will email you forms for the vet to review and give permission for as per the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966. This only needs to happen once at the start of the course. With your permission I will let them know of any observations. I look forward to meeting you and helping your horse heal!
